"Frozen" Blue Mason Jar Snow Globes

You’re bound to have seen this pinned in your Pinterest feed at least ten times by now & probably repinned it a time or two yourself. I’m definitely guilty! I’ve been trying to decide to how I wanted to do mine though. I liked the tree and the glitter and the snow, but I knew I wanted to use the 100th anniversary blue jars. I am totally obsessed with them & another box seems to sneak into my cart every time I go to Target.

I aslo have a trick! I found the loop hole here. I didn’t want to use the water/glycerin & flip-it-upside-down method , but I didn’t want all the glitter to sit at the bottom either. So I “froze” the glitter…

Here’s what you’ll need- mason jars, tacky glue, your trees (Got mine at the Dollar Tree!), glitter tape (from Target), tacky glue, & glitter

Glue trees & anything else your heart desires to the jar tops. Make sure you let the glue set for one whole minute before sticking the trees to the lids.

Now for my fancy trick! Spray the inside of the jar with with a little bit of tacky glue.

Throw in some glitter & roll it around in the jar. Now it’s stuck forever! Yayyyyy!!!!!! No more shaking or turning upside down. It’s always snowing glitter in this snow globe.

I used the awesome glitter tape to pretty us the lids. Their was a small amount of excess so I just used my thumb to press it down around the edges.

Attach the lids.

Then screw on the jars. Perfect!
