Christmas Wishes Necklace

Like I mentioned yesterday, all my mom’s family got together today for my Papa’s 65th birthday. We enjoyed each other & all the food. My cupcakes were a hit too!

I threw together an easy holiday craft for all the girls to do. It was fun & only slightly messy, plus pretty darn cheap,

Here’s some of the lovely girls waiting.

These are the ornaments I used. I got them half off at Michael’s for $2.50. We turned them into fun Christmas wish necklaces.

You’ll also need a collection of glitter, sequins, baubles, & ribbon.

Unscrew the topper & fill the ornament up with whatever pretties you like.

Write your Christmas wish on a little scrap of paper, roll it up, & throw it in the ornament too.

I cut my ribbons to 28″ for the older girls & 24″ for the younger girls.

Then put the topper back on & wa-la. I recommend using a dab of glue when replacing it & maybe using plastic bulbs instead of glass…just incase they fall all over the floor & break into a million pieces. Which may or may not have happened today.

Yes, her wish totally says, “Go swimming with Jesus.”

We had fun making these & I like how everyone’s turned out differently.

This is a great craft for a girl’s Christmas night. Just add a hot chocolate bar & a Christmas movie.

Hope you liked it!

Check out my no-shake snow globes too!
