Happy Black Friday friends! Did any of you go out early this morning? Or even last night? I headed to Target last night then got some sleep in & made it to Bass Pro this morning. They are seriously the best place to go on Black Friday. No joke!
My awesome friend, Ciara, got engaged on Tuesday night! It was such a sweet proposal in a gazebo lit with mason jars…anyways, I threw her together an early Christmas/Congratulations on getting engaged gift. I was pinterest-inspired for this fun project filled with wedding planning goodies.
I just got engaged too this past Sunday, & you can read about that here.
I used a silver, glittered, Christmas box from the one spot at Target. Then a layer of tissue paper & some wedding magazines. Plus some nail polish, hershey kisses, & post-it tabs.
Then I made this super quick ring holder to add to it! I made one of these for myself & I keep it by the sink for when I do dishes. You’ll need spray tacky glue, pretty paper, cork, a picture frame, & a dress pin.
Michael’s usually carries these frames year round for just a dollar. That means they don’t have a glass pane, which is perfect for this project. They do have that weird plasticy film. So be sure to totally remove it.
Measure your frame & cut a piece of cork & scrapbook paper to match.
Spray the cork with tacky glue & let sit for 60 seconds.
Then bond them together & let dry.
Put it all together & stick a pin in the middle, like so. Then it’s ready for use!
This is a great gift for new brides, but could work for almost anyone as a holiday gift. Adorable, Affordable, & so quick!
Now back to the box- Here’s the finished bundle.
Since it is Christmastime, I bought this little “H” ornament to embellish the wrapping.
The wrapping isn’t too shabby either!
What would you add to the box?
