I shared my Farmhouse Style Thanksgiving Table yesterday. So today I wanted to give a quick glimpse of my simpler, cheaper, “kids table.” Just in case yesterday’s gloriousness was a little intimidating…this is for you.
This is our baby Ikea table in the kitchen with the funky red chairs. I’m pretty sure they’re outside chairs. Oh well!
The centerpiece is cheap & functional, because you can always eat the fruit afterwards! I piled up a few oranges & pomegranates on a pretty tray with real leaves & a couple sprigs of faux berries. There are a few cinnamon sticks tucked in as well as a candle.
I used a scarf for the table runner & love the texture/color it adds. Great tip!
My plates are same ones I made in this post from Dollar Tree plates & the chargers were only $1 each at Michaels. I only used 2 on this table.
Love the gorgeous fall colors of the centerpiece against the fuzzy, light blue.
I used blue mason jars as glasses & added fun, paper straws.
How do you dress up your kids table? Do they even get decorations? These are pretty big kids sitting at this table. Actually, it’s more like the “teen table” so I thought they could deal with some pizzaz as well!
