Do you have any tacky sweater Christmas parties to attend this weekend? Or maybe you’re feeling a little extra jolly lately?
You probably need one more way to add some Christmas cheer to your outfits for the next week!
I’ve got just the thing! 😉
You know those huge bunches of flowers brides have been wearing on their heads lately? I thought it was about time someone made a Christmas version. So I did.
To make your own version grab a bunch of holiday flowers & garlands (all mine are from the Dollar Tree), a stretchy headband, felt, hot glue, wire cutters, & scissors.
Pull all the flowers off of the stems & all the garland apart. Cut anything that won’t easily slide off with the wire cutters.
Next cut a piece of felt in the shape you’d like the flowers to be arranged…a circle, a long oval, etc.
Now play around with arranging the flowers on your crown & hot glue them into place. Hot glue the felt onto the headband & BAM! Tacky Christmas headband. How fun was that?
I’m wearing mine on Christmas morning with my jambes, of course. & Just in case all the other gals in the family are jealous, I made a few extra. 😉 So expect Instagram photos come Christmas morning.
Now go complete your tacky (or not) Christmas ensemble with a wreath for your head!
