Hey y’all! Happy few days before Christmas! Hope you’re getting to enjoy some time off this week & reflecting on the reason for the season!
But just in case you’re still running around like a mad person in the hustle & bustle, I’ve got a super easy super simple Christmas treat for you to make! I’m sure you just need one more sweet thing to get you through the next week. Whether it’s for yourself, for a gift, for a neighbor, the mailman, or to bring to a party or gathering, these will be a hit.
The recipe is adapted from the Pillsbury crescent layer bar recipe, which is super yummy too! We make them all the time, I just wanted to fancy ’em up for Christmas.
You’ll need a package of crescent rolls, a can of sweetened condensed milk, chocolate toffee bits, vanilla Christmas chips, sliced almonds, & chopped pecans.
Preheat the oven to 350 then unroll the dough onto a pan. Press seams together & push up tone edges so you have some crust.
Bake it for 5 minutes then return to counter.
Evenly sprinkle on all the nuts nuts & chips.
So many layers of holiday deliciousness. Hang on I think I’ll go grab one real quick…
Pour a can of sweetened condensed milk , as evenly as possible, all over the top. Get every last drop!
Now pile on the sprinkles!
Then bake for 20-25 more minutes, until the crust is golden-brown. Let it cool for 1 hour & run the knife the around the edges. Then chill for at least 1 hour before slicing & serving.
