I live in Houston, TX where it will probably NEVER snow. It did that one time when I was in 5ht grade, but I think that was one my one white Christmas for life. So while everyone else is getting snow in January, I’ve got fake it down here & this wreath does a pretty good job.
After taking down all the Christmas I wanted some simple decor. I’ve gone woodsy & white & plain for January. You can see the rest of the house tomorrow, but here’s the wreath I made till then!
To make the wreath I used- a stick wreath (I don’t know what else to call it?), styrofoam balls of varying sizes, thin white ribbon, & hot glue.
First I laid arranged the balls how I liked them & quickly hot glued them in place.
Next I tied a simple bow & hot glued that on too. I left the tails nice & long.
Now go hang it on a deserving door! I think they should always have some sort of wreath. What do you think?
I partly think this because I really can’t stand glass doors & Michael picked this out. So the wreath helps to hide it. 😉 I love glass on your doors, just not ours!
I only left the wood logs on out on the porch. It looked too bare without them.
The simplicity of this wreath just makes my heart swoon after all the crazy Christmasness. I love putting it all out, but I love taking it all down just as much. Am I the only one?
Anyhow, Happy Tuesday folks! Hope you’ve left a little inspired & come back tomorrow to see what I’ve done to the inside!
