I have been making these things for literally over 10 years. My family absolutely loves them! I only make them once or twice a year (Thanksgiving & Christmas) & they always disappear within minutes. I usually triple or quadruple this recipe & there are never any left. This is originally a Pampered Chef recipe, similar to this one. My mom sold it when I was a kid & that’s where I got the recipe.
I think these would be a hit for the upcoming Super Bowl or any other big event centered around yummy finger foods!
Plus these are so simple!
All you need are crescent rolls, cream cheese, bacon bits, green onion, & pepper. I usually ALWAYS cook & crumble real bacon, but I used these real bacon pieces this time around simply because it was easy! You can do either, but obviously real bacon is going to deliver the most/best taste.
Make sure your cream cheese is super soft. If it hasn’t sat out long enough you could microwave it for about 15 secs. Add your bacon in & some green onions along with fresh ground pepper.
Mix it all up real good! If you’re working on these ahead of time, stope here, cover, & refrigerate.
Unroll the crescent roll dough pressing the seams together. I do mine straight on the pan for less mess. You can use a cutting board if you prefer.
Spread your mixture evenly across the unrolled crescent dough. It’s just going to be easier to use your fingers for this, so get a little messy.
After you’ve spread them well, roll them up longways like a jellyroll.
Then slice into 1″ rounds. Separate & place on baking sheet cream cheese side up. You’ll probably have to reshape them a little as you do this.
Then bake according to the crescent roll package directions.
Now gobble them all up while they’re still warm!

These are so incredibly addicting, be careful! Don’t let too many people try them either or you’ll have to make a batch for every party you attend!
Be sure & let me know how much you love them after you make your first batch!
