Oh my! That title sure is a mouthful!
But it’s definitely a mouthful of goodness! I made these chocolate chip cookie bundts a few nights ago when I wanted to make cookie cups filled with icing. It wasn’t until I realized I don’t own a mini muffin pan that I decided to go the bundt route.
Luckily, bundt cakes are all the rage right now! You know what I mean if you have a Nothing Bundt Cakes near you. Can I get an Amen?
& if you don’t know, please go look at their website now so you can understand.
So this worked out in my favor & they came out great! They’ll be the perfect treat for a Valentine’s party, especially for kids. Or grown up who act like kids. 😉
First grab your ingredients!
You can use homemade dough or pre-packaged dough, it’s up to you. I usually make my own chocolate chip cookies (I’ve got a good recipe here!), but the packaged kind worked out great for this project. You also need some cream cheese, butter, powdered sugar, & vanilla. Plus sprinkles for decorating & cupcake liners if you so desire.
**Mini bundt pan is from Target, of course!
Cut each block of cookie dough in half & press one half into a very well-greased mini bundt pan. Put those in the oven & bake according to the package directions. Let them cool for 5 minutes.
Mix up some delicious cream cheese icing & add some bright pink food coloring if you’re feel in’ the love!
Mine turned out umm..really bright!
Remove the cookies from the pan & let cool for about 20 minutes before icing. They pop out really easy with the tip of an icing spreader.
Get your icing ready to pipe in a plastic bag or be fancy & use a real piping bag if you’ve got it. I have some but they’re too hard to clean! I’d rather throw away the baggies afterwards than use the real ones.
Try to follow the bundt grooves with your icing & go up & down the cake then leave a drop in the middle.
Yum! Add sprinkles & they’re ready for devouring! Aren’t they adorable & wonderfully feminine. Especially in their pink. You can make these for Valentine’s Day or of any day with different colored icings. You can use any kind of cookie dough too. No need to limit yourself!
Or right click/save as from above.
I just love mini bundts. I might do some red velvet too!
If you’re really feelin’ the chocolate chip but want to go a bit bigger, try this chocolate chip pie!
