I hosted a Valentine’s Cookie Decorating Brunch over the weekend & all of us girl had such a good time playing in icing & sprinkles! It was such a cute idea. I took a ton of photos to share with y’all too! Because that’s what I like to do & maybe you’ll have a Valentine’s Cookie Decorating Party too!
This was my food table, obviously!
We had lots of yumminess! The chicken minis were definitely the biggest hit & gone in about 30 seconds. I used my Copycat Chickfila nugget recipe & stuck them inside Parker House rolls. Tastes almost exactly like the real deal y’all!
We had chocolate muffins, sugar cookies, cinnamon rolls, popcorn, fruit, nuts, & cheese & crackers too.
A great spread!
My favorite was the little milks. I filled up some mini milk glasses I found in the Target One Spot & placed them in a iced heart platter.
I love my little burst of mushy pink love in the corner! I made different decor with tissue paper, & used balloons, gold heart doilies, streamers, garland, & beads to dress up the corner.
It became a cute photo backdrop for selfies.
I set everyone up with a sheet of parchment paper & undecorated sugar cookies. I stuck the sheets down with cute washi tape & wrote everyone’s names along top. They actually sell parchment paper in sheets just like that. How did I never know that! So super helpful in life.
I made buttercream icing with shortening instead of butter plus lots of powdered sugar, some milk & a little bit of vanilla. I scooped the icing into these condiment bottles (you can get ’em for a dollar at Walmart!) & refrigerated them until the party. I set them all upside down in small mason jars to keep the icing in the bottom.
I set out pink paper bags at each person’s seat with their initial on it for them to use to bring home the cookies.
Oh & you can’t forget the sprinkles! I set them out in mini heart trays with mini plastic spoons. We’re all about the mini lately.
You could do a cookie decorating party for any holiday really or even for a little girl’s birthday party. That would be so fun! Just switch out the cookie cutters.
Anyway, hope you enjoyed the party!
PS: Linking up at some of these great places, check ’em out!
