One my goals for this coming year is to take my niece out once a month to do whatever she wants. She’s not yet 3 & is going to be a big sister this year, so it’s a great time to make some fun memories!
We started the day at Chick-Fil-A, of course, for some yummy/free breakfast.
Then it was onto Barnes & Noble, which just happens to be her very favorite place. We read some books, played with the trains & stuffed animals & built giant towers with the legos. We even left with a new friend- a pink unicorn.
For lunch we had peanut butter sandwiches & played at the park.
While we were there we collected some small sticks for a craft!
We picked out plenty of colorful & sparkly pom-poms.
Then I let her pick all the spots to glue them & I attached them with hot glue.
We covered a tin can in washi tape & used it as a vase for her pom-pom sticks. Makes some cheery decorations for her room!
**Obviously, make sure there are no sharp edges on the can.
We worked on a fun project in the kitchen involving sprinkles & marshmallows for Valentine’s Day. You’ll see more on these goodies later this week! Consider this a sneak peek.
She wanted to stop at Sonic on our way home for a strawberry lemonade & I just had to oblige…but she fell asleep before the carhop made it out with her drink!
All in all, I think we had a great time! Next month she wants to go the zoo!
