Happy Hump Day folks!
Although it’s certainly “spring” & we’re awaiting Easter Sunday, we’re already experiencing summer here. It hit 90 degrees yesterday y’all. Welcome to H-town. I’m dreaming of the beach & trying to think up a way to convince my husband that an above-ground pool could be attractive. For some reason our lot can’t house a pool, but our neighbors have one. Not fair I tell you!
Heat issues aside, I’ve dolled up the mantel for Easter. It’s simple & sweet & pastel & bunnies. Everything you’d expect from me right now.
I used a mixture of galvanized metal pieces, black & white & Easter eggs in pastel colors. The look is super fun & friendly.
I love layering garlands on my mantel. The bunnies came from the Target One Spot. They had carrots on the ends, but I pulled them off & used them on another project.
You can get the directions for making the Easter eggs garland right here!
The watering can, pitchers & egg tree are all from the Target One Spot too. It is my most favorite place to shop for seasonal goodies! Things go quick though, so you better buy it when you see it. Don’t plan on going back to find something because it probably won’t be there.
The candlesticks are vintage from a local thrift store.
I’ve been using this tray all year long on my bar to hold cute seasonal papergoods & candy.
I love how bright these cuties are! Find the deets on these Peeps jars here.
I kept my dining room more neutral with a gorgeous jadeite cake stand on a simple runner (there’s little brown bunnies on the ends), a whitewash bunny & speckled eggs on top.
Do you decorate much for Easter?
