This past Thanksgiving me & my husband went on a long bike ride. Now, I don’t always have the best balance & need extremely wide spaces to turn. Like, extremely wide! On one such turn, I did not have the necessary space…I fell. I fell horribly! While my husband was laughing hysterically, I picked myself up & realized I’d torn my jeans at the knee. I also tore my skin up pretty badly. I was surely not going to get back on my bike after that painful incident, so we walked all the way home.
I was left with a pretty major scar & Mederma® Advanced Scar Gel is just what I needed to smooth & soften it. I also love that it works on both old & new scars, so you can use it now & later! I was so surprised to learn all the scars it works on too- scars resulting from injury, cuts, surgery, burns, or acne.
I like to keep it within easy reach so I don’t forget it! If I don’t place things in a spot where I’ll see them often, that tends to happen.
So today I’m sharing with you how I like to organize my bathroom & where things go, including my favorite Mederma® products.
I love to keep things very organized in our house, but I like to do it with taste. I like things that look pretty, but also group like things together.
I feel I’ve achieved that well in my vanity area, so it’s the perfect spot to share!
I like to keep the countertop mainly clear. I only keep items I use every single day on the top. Everything else goes underneath the cabinets, nicely organized & labeled.
Everything must have a designated place to be or you’ll lose your mind when you’re trying to clean up. I use super simple labels to help with this. Washi tape & a sharpie works best because it is easily removed when I change my mind about something. I also use this method in my fridge for leftovers. Plus, you can always switch out the tape with fun new designs & colors. It’s the most affordable & quickest labeling method, in my experience.
The beloved items that do get to sit on the countertop, must be rounded up on trays or in baskets. Product should not be sitting openly on the counter. Use things in your style to corral countertop items together. This way they whole basket can be picked up easily while cleaning, etc.
I also have one super skinny drawer on the top of my vanity. I’ve struggled forever with how to organize it/what to put there, since only smaller items will fit. I’ve found that using a grip shelf liner helps to keep everything from rolling around. It’s the perfect spot for my toothbrush, hairbrush, hand mirror, nail tools & Mederma® products. Mederma® products work to treat scars & stretch marks on your skin.
You can find Mederma® Advanced Scar Gel & Mederma® Scar Cream Plus SPF 30 next time you’re at Walmart, right in front of the pharmacy. I found it on the very top shelf.
