I love seeing a vision come to life, which is just what happened with this mantel! I’ve had the same DIY cotton blossom garland up since I did my fall mantel, along with the silver platters, trophy cups, candlesticks, antlers & grapevine wreath. It’s been so fun styling it differently for fall, Christmas, winter & now Valentine’s Day. I’m afraid this is the last holiday I can use it for. It’s simply not springy enough for Easter y’all!
But, don’t you fret, it’ll be back out next fall for sure! Unless, of course, I come up with something I love even more; which is always a total possibility.
Let’s just start with how this all came about…THOSE PINK CANDLES! I am dying over the color! I found them on Amazon, but am sure you can find them elsewhere. I plan to keep them out for all the holidays. Like spring, Easter, Mother’s Day…I’m even thinking I can work them into the Fourth of July?! Haha okay probably not, but you feel me. However, I may be considering a pink Christmas next year!
I also wove in this gorgeous satin, navy ribbon. A few bows here & there were the perfect addition. I’ve literally been obsessed with the navy/hot pink color combo since I was I was in jr. high. I used to wear navy blue flip flops & paint my toes hot pink, then stare down at my feet all day. Not even kidding y’all! I’m such a weirdo.
The pink beads were leftovers I bought in post-Christmas sales a few years ago. One strand is from Target & the other is actually from Walmart. Once I, so sadly, ran out of pink candles I filled in with white ones.

Thanks for stopping by sweet friends! Do you decorate your mantel for Valentine’s Day? Share with me if you do!
