It’s graduation week around here y’all & my baby brother is one of the graduates! I’ve been whipping up tons of these mason jar grads to sell at the shop as well as some for his party decor. They are adorable & I’m in love with the black glitter on the black paint! candy for a fun treat!
It’s a great way to dress up the traditional graduation gift- MONEY! Simply fill the jar with money, gift cards &/or the grad’s fave candy. You can totally personalize them with names as well!

You can switch up the colors of the jar, the cap, the tassel & the glitter. For the boys I’ve left the jars plain & not done the glitter polka dots. I recommend extra fine glitter for this particular project & a few coats of acrylic paint or chalk paint. If you plan on using this for more than a gift or a one-time centerpiece, you should seal it with a clear spray.
What else could you gift in these jars?! Jewelry would work, or you could fill it with quarters for laundry at college! I would have loved that!
If you view the video below, you can get the easy directions for this fun graduation gift too! Nothing really beats homemade y’all, especially when there’s money (or candy) inside!
Here’s the video I did making both of these grad gifts on Facebook Live!
