Good Morning Y’all! Happy Tuesday & Seasons Greetings!
I just love this time of year when all the blog posts are bursting with Christmas cheer! Today is not different. I am going to show you how to decorate a tree for under $50!
My nieces got a tall, new tree this year & I wanted to take them to get all new ornaments & decor for it. So we were off to the 99 Cents Only Store! They are my go to for affordable, Christmas decor!
Here’s what we found! I love that there is always something new and exciting at the 99. You never know what you’ll find when you “do the 99” (shop at 99 Cents Only Stores)!
Here is the “before” of the empty tree! just wait till you see the after!
We loaded up on fabulous tree supplies from the 99. I chose a variety of sizes & textures for a big impact overall.
First things first, we added in the tinsel garland. I love the matte champagne look of this! I draped them down the tree instead of across for a waterfall effect.
Next up, snow! I’m in love with the snow at the 99! It’s so fluffy & makes the perfect faux snow! It reminds me of Santa’s beard! Lol. We tucked handfuls of “snow” all throughout the tree & used this to fill in large gaps. Next come the biggest ornaments, in this case those snowflakes. Use these to anchor the tree & fill in any more gaps. Work your way down the tree in order of biggest to smallest ornament size.
Don’t you love the “after!” Can you believe this tree was done with items all from the 99 Cents Only Store?! Can you imagine the savings of doing a whole tree with the 99 compared to your other favorite department store? I could’ve easily spent 3 times this (or more!) at other stores!
I know the girls will have a magical Christmas under this tree. I love the glow of it. I think our color scheme brought out more of a glow. We used all white & gold ornaments.
These bells come in packs of 6 in several colors & make a good filler for smaller empty spots on the tree. I put these on last.
These tinsel filled ornaments totally add to the magic of the tree! I love the shiny glow they give.
Which ornaments are your favorite?
The puff balls are mine! These are actually keychains, but make fab ornaments tucked into the tree! I’ll have to go back to find some to add to my tree!
Have you decorated your tree yet? Does it need a bit more? Head to the 99 for everything you need to celebrate the holidays! 99 Cents Only Stores have all of your favorite name brands at a price that can’t be beat. See how others are doing the 99 this season here!
