Who loves easy desserts with minimal measuring? ME!!!!
I love all kinds of baking/eating sweets…it’s a real problem I know! But, when you can dump some stuff in a pan & bake it up real quick, there’s no turning back y’all. You must read this recipe & make these bars! They’re chocolate-y, crunchy, nutty & perfectly balanced.
The crust is a made up of a can of crescent rolls…you’ve already won me over! Dump chocolate chips, white chocolate chips, pecans & almonds on top. Cover it all with some sweetened condensed milk & bake it warm & gooey!
The best part is you can eat them immediately or cool them in the fridge & eat them set. I prefer them both ways lol.
Nutty Chocolate Layer Bars
- 1 pkg crescent roll sheet
- 1 bag chocolate chips 2 cups
- 1 bag white chocolate chips 2 cups
- 1 & 1/2 cups chopped pecans
- 1 & 1/2 cups slivered almonds
- 1 can sweetened condensed milk
Preheat oven to 350. Grease 9x13 pan.
Roll out crescent roll dough to fit pan & create a short crust up sides of pan.
Pre-bake crescent roll dough for 5 minutes.
Remove from oven.
Spread chocolate chips & nuts over dough.
Pour sweetened condensed milk over chocolate & nuts.
Put back in the oven for 15-20 minutes, till crust is browned.
Let cool & slice into bars.
You can serve immediately while hot or chill & serve set. They are great both ways! Enjoy!!
I like to freeze the leftovers & pull one out when I’m in the mood for something sweet!
